SapientNitro Campus Placement 2014-15 HBTI Kanpur

SapientNitro visited our campus for hiring. I am sharing the details of selection process.

CTC 4.5 Lacks

Bond of 1.5 years: yes there was a bond of one and half years

First of all I want to tell something important about this company. It is very nice company for those who have intention to continue preparation like CAT and others, because they have intensive training program for 6 months.So you can get some leisure and opportunity to learn some good technologies.

Selection Procedure:

online Test

The online test conducted by amcat in HBTI CSE department. It has 4 sections, details of each are following.

Quantitative Aptitude
Time:30 minutes
No. of Question: 25(around)


Logical Reasoning
Time:30 minutes
No. of Question: 25(around)


English
Time:30 minutes
No. of Question: 25(around)


Technical
Time:30 minutes
No. of Question: 25(around)

In the technical Paper they included C,C++,DS,Algo and OOPs concept.



Note:

Each section has own timer so you can not get leverage if would finish any sections early.
The question might be different on your friends screen sitting side by you.
You should search for some previous amcat(or the company which is going to conduct the test) papers, you can get some same questions.


After a month they declared the result of test and selected 50 to 60 student for face to face interview.





F2F Interview

SapientNitro had one of the koolest interview. They were asking very straight questions and trending puzzles. They were not asking very hard technical questions but you should not take it for granted prepare as best as you can. Here are something you must do in order to maximize your chance to get selected.
1. Do the puzzles(at least some which is famous and trending).
2. Be prepared for your college project and summer intern project.
3. Brush up communication skills(If you are not fluent in speaking english).
4. Do mock interviews( It's most important thing, grab your friend and make them to do something needful for you).

      I don't remember exactly but it was very cool like 60%. Almost everyone had participated in the process.

If you are just typing aql on terminal and following error throwing while your aerospike server has been started successfully. WARN AEROSPIKE_ERR_CLIENT Socket write error: 111 It may happen because you had connected some other server before, Now you are trying to connect to your localhost or different server. To remove the above error just type full command: aql -h 127.0.0.1 -p 3000                           ( put server ip in case of other server rather than localhost) instead of jus aql.
